Ready to learn how to play American Mahjong in a fun, social setting?
Join us for an interactive Mahjong Social & Learning Event at AR Workshop Tallahassee,
led by Mary Ellen Downie @mahjcommunity. She is a Certified Oh My Mahjong Instructor and is a member of the Mahj Life Instructor Guild.

Whether you’re brand new to the game or just want to brush up on your skills, this relaxed class is the perfect way to learn how to play according to National Mah Jongg League rules.
Enjoy an evening filled with laughter, friendly competition, and community connection as you discover the fun and strategy behind this timeless game. Mary Ellen will walk you through tile meanings, hands, and gameplay tips to help you feel confident at the table.
Come for the learning, stay for the laughter at Tallahassee’s favorite spot for creative workshops and social events.
Registration fee is $75 per person.
* We will need a minimum of four people to hold the workshop.
If a lesson is cancelled due to the minimum not being met, you will receive a 24 hour notice and the choice of a refund or to move to a different date.
Each booking is for one person. If you are booking for 3, you must reserve three seats.

Refund Policy: Due to the custom nature of our business, we do not offer refunds. If you cannot attend your scheduled workshop, please call 850.810.3052 or email us at tallahassee@arworkshop.com ASAP and we will transfer your registration to a future class. Transfer registrations expire within 6 months of original class date.
Notice received less than 24 hours before class date will be charged a $20 transfer fee.
