Gather, Create & Play: Discover the House of Hydrangea Mahjong Collection

At AR Workshop®, we believe the best hobbies bring people together. Whether you’re creating personalized home décor, gathering around the workshop table with friends, or joining us for one of our popular Mahjong Open Play events, creativity and community are always at the heart of what we do. That’s why we’re so excited to celebrate the newest Mahjong tile release from our sister company, Anders Ruff Design Co. Meet the beautiful House of Hydrangea Mahjong Tile Collection, which just launched for preorder! Inspired by blooming hydrangea gardens, timeless blue-and-white design, and elegant outdoor living, this collection is perfect for players who love beautiful details as much as they love the game itself.

Mahjong Is More Than a Game—It’s an Experience

Over the past few years, we’ve watched Mahjong become so much more than a favorite pastime. It’s become a reason to gather with neighbors, reconnect with friends, celebrate milestones, and create meaningful traditions. That’s exactly why many AR Workshop locations have added Mahjong Open Play Nights to their event calendars. These relaxed gatherings give players a welcoming place to enjoy the game while connecting with other Mahjong enthusiasts in their local community. And just like your home décor reflects your personal style, your Mahjong table can too.

Inspired by the Beauty of a Blooming Garden

The House of Hydrangea collection captures everything we love about timeless design. Every suit has been thoughtfully illustrated with heirloom-inspired artwork that celebrates the beauty of garden living.

• Garden lanterns illuminate the Craks.
• Botanical greenery creates elegant Bams, while a watercolor dragonfly makes a stunning Dragon Bam.
• Classic blue trellis medallions transform the Dots.
• The Soap Tile showcases the beautiful lattice pattern that inspired the entire collection.

The Flowers, Winds, and Jokers continue the story with hydrangea bouquets, watering cans, blooming window boxes, climbing trellises, white picket fences, and welcoming garden homes that feel both nostalgic and fresh.

Complete the Look with Coordinating Accessories

One of our favorite things about this collection is how beautifully everything works together. The premium acrylic tile set coordinates with matching Mahjong mats, tablecloths, and card covers, making it easy to create a polished game table that reflects your personal style. Whether you’re hosting Mahjong on your patio, gathering in your sunroom, or joining friends for game night, every detail has been designed to create an elevated experience.

Bring Your Love of Mahjong Into Your Home

At AR Workshop, we love helping guests create spaces that tell their story. Our growing collection of DIY Mahjong-inspired home décor projects lets you celebrate your favorite hobby beyond game night. From personalized signs and serving trays to decorative accents and seasonal pieces, it’s easy to create décor that feels both beautiful and meaningful.
