Now Open: AR Workshop Gainesville
AR Workshop Gainesville (formerly AR Workshop Bristow) opened in a new Virginia location. We are so excited for you to meet the owners and have an opportunity to DIY beautiful home decor in the new gorgeous workshop space. The doors are open at 16330 Lee Hwy., in Gainesville. AR Workshop® is a boutique DIY studio that offers instructor-led hands-on classes for creating custom decor from raw materials in a fun, lounge-style atmosphere.
AR Workshop Gainesville is owned by Ashley and Bob Hamell. Ashley and Bob have always had an interest in DIY projects, whether it is building planter boxes, decorating their children’s room, renovating the kitchen, or just building unique projects for themselves.
In high school, Ashley leARned the ARt of cabinet making, while Bob leARned many DIY skills from his father and step-father. After living in VA for a year, Bob and Ashley bought a fixer-upper townhome in Alexandria, where they spent three years renovating almost the ENTIRE house.
Ashley and Bob currently reside in Warrenton with their three young children, two dogs, and their cat.
