How to Wrap Gift Cards Three Ways
Holiday season is upon us, which means it’s also gift-giving season. Gift cards sometimes get a bad rap, but if you have a lover of DIY on your gift recipient list this year, we happen to think a gift card to AR Workshop is the perfect choice! You can add a little extra thought and care in how you present the gift card to show the recipient how much they are loved and appreciated. I am sharing three creative ways to wrap gift cards on the blog today.
1. BOXED: The first gift card wrapping idea takes a boxed approach. Fill a lidded gift box with paper shred, a small bottle of craft paint, and a paint brush. Insert the gift card, and add some fresh greenery as a seasonal embellishment.
2. BOTTLED: The second creative approach to gift card wrapping utilizes a draw string burlap bag (easily sourced at your local craft store) and a bottle of the recipient’s favorite wine or other beverage. Simply insert the gift card in the burlap bag, add some foam brushes and hang from the bottle to complete the look.
3. BRUSHED: The final gift card wrapping idea I am sharing today plays on the DIY dry brushed paint look. Use a dry foam brush with a minimal amount of craft paint to create DIYd wrapping paper. Wrap the gift card like a typical present using the homemade paper. Tie up the package with twine and ribbon, and attach a small foam brush and sprig of greenery as accents.
Which of these gift card wrapping ideas is most your style? We can’t wait to see how you wrap your gift cards this year!
