Meet Julie Alveari- owner of AR Workshop Bellmore. Julie has a background in social work and has a love for all things DIY. With her husband Mike’s building skills and Julie’s eye for design, they made their house a home by building their own furniture and home decor from scratch. Since then, their first thought when looking for a new piece is, if they can build it, no need to buy it.
Although Julie has left the social work field, her main focus was and always will be human connection. Her goal is to create a space where friends and loved ones can come to connect with one another, de-stress, and catch up over a glass of wine- all while creating a unique and meaningful piece for their home. Born and raised on the South Shore of Long Island, being able to bring such an amazing business to Julie’s hometown and the surrounding areas of Wantagh, Merrick, Seaford, Massapequa, and Rockville Centre is a dream come true.
