Life is Better by the Pool
With Memorial Day weekend passed and schools getting out for the summer, it’s time to relax at the pool!
Now, I don’t actually make the plunge until the weather has been a consistent 90 degrees, so for the first part of Summer, I’m exclusively by the poolside with a drink in hand.
You know who disagrees with me? Anyone under the age of 15!
Luckily, AR Workshop has released new tote designs! I’m going to be real here, I have more canvas totes than I know what to do with. They always have cute designs and are so easy to just throw in the wash when they start to smell like sunscreen. I love them!
What I don’t love is when you wind up with 15 pairs of goggles and an armada of swim toys, towels, sunscreen bottles, sunglasses, etc, etc. Which is exactly why a morning or afternoon at AR Workshop with the kids is what you need! Let me tell you, taking an SUV load of kids to the pool when they each have their own personalized tote that actually fits anything they could possibly need and more, is so much easier. And I actually have space for my own things (including a little emergency makeup kit for when your waterproof mascara isn’t holding up)!
For those of you who are a little more like me, hanging out under an umbrella until July, you might be more inclined to make one of AR Workshop’s new patterned trays or pillows. Like canvas bags, I’m not ready to admit I have a problem!
Y’all, not only do I have one of these trays on every bed in my house, I’ve got them on my porch too!
